Commercial Bus Sales Representative
Our company located in Murfreesboro, TN is looking for a Commercial Bus Sales Representative to be responsible for generating and contacting leads in multiple market segments, engaging with customers on a personal and professional level via e-mail, phone, trade shows, and face-to-face, while meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Responsibilities will include informing customers of the multiple products we offer, personal demonstrations locally, as well as throughout the AOR, along with negotiating final sales prices with customers.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the products themselves (which will be taught), understand how basic sales processes work, excel in handling objections, and be willing and flexible enough to put in additional hours when needed. The ideal candidate for this position is extremely driven, hardworking, self-motivated, confident, organized, friendly, and has an extraverted-type personality. A business/marketing concentration in college and previous sales experience is a big benefit and would be very valuable to this position.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Generating leads
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Negotiating all final sales with prospective customers
- Giving sales presentations to a range of customers in different markets
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders
- Maintaining customer information, and setting up a personal system for follow-up
- Visiting customers and potential customers, throughout the AOR, to evaluate needs or promote our products
- Contribute and assist teammates when needed
Sales Representative Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, or related field
Experience in sales
Understanding of the basic sales process and dynamics
A commitment to excellent customer service
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Willingness and flexibility to learn, adapt to and adopt new systems, products and procedures
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Very strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers very quickly

The Bus Center in in Pelham, Alabama is seeking experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. Diesel Experience is a plus! We have an immediate opening for a strong, self-motivated individual with knowledge of medium/heavy duty bus and/or truck repairs. We promote a team atmosphere with the number one goal of putting the customer’s needs 1st!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and repairs on school buses, focusing on diesel engines.
- Diagnose issues with braking systems, engine performance, electrical, and other mechanical components.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, ensuring buses are safe and in optimal running condition.
- Keep records of maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician, ideally with school buses or Diesel Experience.
- CDL is preferred or plan to achieve.
- Expertise in diesel engine repair, troubleshooting, a plus.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems used in bus fleets.
- Strong attention to detail and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass a background check
